Let me share my experience with you..
For the first time I placed a Cash-on-delivery order with an online shopping site (I wouldn't disclose the name) and did not hear anything for about 20 days. I tried calling a few times but the call was not answered. In about 20 days, I received a mail stating "No Cash-on-delivery available in your area" and my order was canceled.
After a few days I placed an order with Homeshop18 . It was really a very good experience since there was continuous communication till the order was delivered at my doorstep. The order arrived within time and the products were really good. They boosted my confidence level in online shopping.
Since then I started shopping online and have placed orders with Rediff, Sify, Indiaplaza and Myntra.com and I would say that these sites are really good for online shopping.
